Sandrine Holt was the mother of Sandrine Ho. She was born in London the 19th of November, 1972. The daughter of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. When she was just five the family relocated from the Chinese region to Canada. Before becoming an actor, she modeled as a model in Paris for a modeling job on the catwalk. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her film debut as Annuka. This role was recognized with the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise to Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas followed and also guest appearances for her in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force, Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension as well as Dance with the Murderer. For 22 episodes, she played a key part in John Woo's The Thief. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was released in 2004 and is available on DVDVHS along with Resident Evil Apocalypse. In 2006, she was able to be offered a more prominent character in 24 - Twenty Four and Runaway. After various guest roles in series and smaller roles in film Holt played a major role as a lead character in Hostages in 2013. She also had a supporting role in the Netflix series House of Cards. In 2015, she was Julie Han in The Returned's US remake. Then, she was cast as Dr. Bethany Exner.
